Repair crews are continuing restoration work following yesterday’s Russian strikes, Vice Prime Minister for Restoration of Ukraine and Minister for Communities and Territories Development Oleksiy Kuleba reported.

According to him, energy and utility services in the Kharkiv region are working around the clock to stabilize essential infrastructure. The scale of the damage is significant, and restarting equipment will require time. Currently, about 100,000 households are without electricity, water, and heating.

“Points of Invincibility” remain operational. The Kharkiv metro continues to work in shelter mode, while ground public transportation is still running.

In the Poltava region, the restoration of heat and water supply is already underway.

Rail service also continues. Despite power outages and unstable voltage, train links with the Kharkiv and Poltava regions are maintained. On routes in Poltava region, Ukrzaliznytsia has launched a Food Train — a special rail service providing hot meals to residents of communities left without power. Over the next two days, cooks are expected to serve more than 2,000 portions.

Kuleba thanked all emergency and utility teams working non-stop: “We are grateful to everyone who is working around the clock to restore warmth and light.”
