A primary school teacher from one of the city’s lyceums and her son, a second-year pupil, were killed in a night-time Russian attack on Kharkiv. This was reported by the city’s mayor, Ihor Terekhov.
According to him, a primary school teacher from Lyceum No. 6 and her son were killed in their home during the strike. An eighth-grade student from Lyceum No. 16, who was at home with her mother, was also killed.
Terekhov expressed his condolences to the families and friends of the victims.
Search and rescue operations are continuing at the site of the strike on the residential building.
