This was stated by the 7th Rapid Response Corps of the Air Assault Forces, noting that the enemy is unable to take Pokrovsk by force and is trying to compensate for its failures with an information campaign.
The enemy is bogged down in urban fighting for Pokrovsk and is currently unable to capture the city. As a result, Russian forces have intensified propaganda and disinformation efforts, spreading false claims about the alleged “capture of Pokrovsk,” both openly and covertly.
The situation in the area of responsibility of the 7th Rapid Response Corps of the Air Assault Forces remains difficult. Russian units are actively assaulting the northern part of the city, but Ukrainian troops continue to carry out their defensive missions and restrain further enemy advances.
In some areas, the enemy is attempting to operate near logistical routes. However, in these zones, the rate at which the enemy is eliminated is higher than the speed of its movement. Despite the complications, logistics continue to function, and an operation to expand logistical corridors is ongoing.
It was also reported that over the past week, the grouping of Defence Forces in the Myrnohrad area has carried out several rotations of personnel. The defence of the Pokrovsk agglomeration involves various components of the Defence Forces, including the Air Assault Forces, assault units, Unmanned Systems Forces, Special Operations Forces, the Security Service of Ukraine, the National Guard and the National Police.
