The 1280th day of the large-scale armed aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine began. From August 25 to 26, 174 clashes took place on the front. In the Pokrovsk direction, the AFU repelled 43 attacks, in the Lymansky direction the Russians stormed 28 times.
This was reported by the General Staff of the AFU.
During the day, the invaders carried out 67 air strikes, dropping 128 guided aerial bombs. In addition, the Russians involved 4,807 kamikaze drones to destroy them and carried out 4,774 attacks on the positions of the AFU and settlements.
The aggressor carried out air strikes on the areas of settlements:
- Staraya Huta, Sumy region;
- Kostyantynivka, Donetsk region;
- Havrylivka, Dnipropetrovsk region;
- Bilogirya, Zaliznychne, Malokaterynivka, Omelnyk, Lukyanivske, Zaporizhzhia region;
- Virivka, Odradokamyanka, Kherson region.
Northern Slobozhansky and Kursk directions
In the Northern Slobozhansky and Kursk directions over the past day, Ukrainian units repelled five attacks by the invaders. The enemy also launched six air strikes, dropping 11 guided bombs, and carried out 179 attacks, including 5 from multiple launch rocket systems.
Southern Slobozhansky, Kupyansky, Lymansky and Siversky directions
In the Southern Slobozhansky direction, the enemy attacked the positions of Ukrainian defenders 12 times near Glyboky, Vovchansk, Ambarny, and towards Kutkivka and Kolodyazny.
In the Kupyansk direction, eight clashes took place yesterday. Ukrainian defenders stopped the enemy’s assault actions in the areas of Synkivka, Golubivka, Kolisnykivka, Lozova and Zagryzove.
In the Lymansk direction, the enemy attacked 28 times. It tried to penetrate the defense of the Armed Forces of Ukraine near the settlements of Novomykhailivka, Hrekivka, Kolodyazi, Novoselyovka, Zelena Dolyna and towards Yampol and Serebryanka.
In the Siversk direction, the Defense Forces stopped five offensive actions of the invaders in the areas of Fedorivka, Hryhorivka and towards Serebryanka.
Kramatorsk, Toretsk, Pokrovsky directions
In the Kramatorsk direction, 13 clashes were recorded yesterday, the invader tried to advance in the areas of Chasovy Yar, Bila Hora and towards Stupochky and Predtechynoye.
In the Toretsk direction, the enemy carried out six attacks in the areas of Diliivka, Toretsk, Rusynyi Yar and Oleksandro-Kalynove.
In the Pokrovsky direction, Ukrainian defenders stopped 43 assault actions of the aggressor in the areas of the settlements of Nykanorivka, Mayak, Myrolyubivka, Novoekonomichne, Rodynske, Grodivka, Sukhyi Yar, Lysivka, Chunyshyne, Zvirovo, Kotlyne, Udachne, Novomykolaivka, Horikhove and Dachne.
Novopavlivskyi, Prydniprovskyi, Orikhovy and other directions
In the Novopavlivskyi direction, the enemy yesterday carried out 19 attacks in the areas of the settlements of Yalta, Zelenyi Hai, Voskresenko, Shevchenko and Komyshuvakha.
In the Hulyaipil direction, a Russian attack took place in the area of Malynivka.
In the Orikhovskyi direction, the occupiers twice tried to advance in the area of Plavni and towards Pavlivka.
In the Dnieper direction, the aggressor’s troops made three futile attempts to advance on the positions of the units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
In the Volyn and Polissya directions, no signs of the formation of offensive groups of the aggressor were detected.
