The 1,267th day of Russia’s large-scale armed aggression against Ukraine has begun. From August 12 to 13, 165 battles were recorded across the entire front line. There were 47 battles in the Pokrovsk direction, the enemy stormed 28 times in the Novopavlivka direction, and 23 attacks were repelled in the Lyman direction.
This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The enemy launched two missile strikes with six missiles and 89 air strikes on the positions of Ukrainian units and populated areas, dropping 183 guided bombs. In addition, it carried out 5,120 shellings, 64 of which were from multiple launch rocket systems, and used 4,166 kamikaze drones to strike targets.
The occupiers carried out air strikes on the following populated areas:
- Boyaro-Lezhachi, Kamianka, Seredina-Buda in Sumy region;
- Bilohirya, Primorske, Malokaterynivka in Zaporizhzhia region;
- Odradokamianka, Antonivka in Kherson region.
Northern Slobozhanskyi and Kursk directions
There were 17 combat engagements in the North Slobozhansky and Kursk directions. The enemy carried out 17 air strikes, dropped 28 guided bombs, and fired 281 times, including 11 times from multiple launch rocket systems.
South Slobozhansky, Kupyansky, Lyman, and Siversky directions
In the South Slobozhansky direction, since the beginning of the day, the enemy has carried out three offensive actions in the areas of the settlements of Vovchanski Khutory, Kamianka, and Krasne Pershe.
Eight attacks by the occupiers took place in the Kupiansk direction over the past day. Defense forces repelled enemy assaults in the directions of Kindrashivka, Moskovka, Kupiansk, Boguslavka, and Nova Kruhlyakivka.
In the Lyman direction, the enemy attacked 23 times. They attempted to advance in the areas of Hrekivka, Myrne, Zarichne, Karpivka, Torske, Dibrova, and towards Shandryholove and Serebryanka.
In the Siverskyi direction, Ukrainian soldiers repelled eight enemy attacks over the past day. The occupying forces attempted to advance in the areas of Hryhorivka and Vyimka.
Kramatorsk, Toretsk, and Pokrovsk directions
In the Kramatorsk direction, three clashes were recorded in the areas of Oleksandro-Shultyne and Stupochky.
In the Toretsk direction, the enemy carried out six attacks in the areas of Nelipivka, Shcherbinivka, Rusyn Yar, and Yablunivka.
In the Pokrovsk direction, Ukrainian defenders stopped 47 assaults and offensive actions by the aggressor in the areas of Popove Yar, Mayak, Rubizhne, Volodymyrivka, Kolodyaziv, Nikanorivka, Kotlyne, Novoye Shakhovoye, Novoye Ekonomichnoe, Zvirovo, Udachnoe, Lisivka, as well as in the directions of Pokrovsk, Zolotoe Kolodyaz, Rodynskoye, and Promen.
Novopavlivka, Prydniprovsk, Orikhiv, and other directions
In the Novopavlivka direction, the Defense Forces repelled 28 enemy attacks in the areas of Dachne, Shevchenko, Novoukrainka, Zirka, Vilne Pole, Oleksandrograd, Tolstoy, Mirny, Maliivka, Olgivka, Voskresenka, and Andriivka-Klevtsovo.
Over the past day, Ukrainian defenders successfully repelled two enemy attacks in the direction of Poltavka in the Huliaipole area.
In the Orikhiv area, the enemy twice attacked the positions of Ukrainian defenders in the vicinity of the village of Kamyanske and in the direction of Novoandriivka.
In the Prydniprovsk direction, the aggressor carried out six offensive actions in the direction of the settlements of Prydniprovske, Antonivka, and Hola Prystan — the defense forces successfully repelled all enemy attacks.
In the Volyn and Polissya directions, no signs of the formation of enemy offensive groups were detected.
