Today, October 14, at a meeting of the Kharkiv Region Defense Council, a decision was made on the mandatory forced evacuation of families with children from 27 settlements in the Velykoburlutskyi, six in the Vilkhuvatskyi, and seven in the Shevchenkivskyi territorial communities.
This was announced by the head of the Kharkiv Regional State Administration, Oleg Synyegubov.
From 40 settlements in three communities, 601 children from 409 families need to be taken to safer places. The decision was made due to the escalation of the security situation in the Kupiansk direction.
“Evacuation routes have already been determined and temporary accommodation for people has been provided. Evacuated families will also receive support in obtaining IDP status, access to payments, and humanitarian aid,” Synyegubov wrote.
