Prolonged fighting in the Middle East could affect arms supplies to Ukraine. President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said this.
According to the head of state, weapons deliveries have not decreased at this time. However, he noted that if hostilities in the Middle East continue for a long period, the impact on assistance to Ukraine “will certainly be felt.”
Zelenskyy emphasized that in such a scenario Ukraine would rely on its own weapons production, which “will operate at full capacity.”
The president also said he would like China to join the peace process aimed at ending the war in Ukraine, but currently does not see Beijing’s involvement.
