        Zelenskyy, Macron, and Starmer signed a declaration on the deployment of Western forces in Ukraine

        Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy signed a declaration with the leaders of France and Great Britain on the intention to deploy a multinational military contingent in Ukraine after the ceasefire. The document was signed following a meeting of the “Coalition of the Willing” in Paris.

        This was reported by the Elysée Palace.

        According to Le Monde, French President Emmanuel Macron said that the creation of a multinational force would provide a kind of guarantee for Ukraine after the ceasefire.

        Macron noted that “preparations are underway to create multinational forces in the air, at sea, and on land to ensure a certain form of calm the day after the ceasefire and far from the line of contact.”

        According to the French president, the mechanisms for monitoring the ceasefire will be transferred to the US.
