President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy held a meeting with the military leadership to discuss the situation on the frontline and further actions. Key combat directions and the results of long-range strikes were reviewed.
Zelenskiy reported this on social media.
According to him, during briefings by Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrskyi and Chief of the General Staff Andrii Hnatov, the situation on the front and Ukrainian operations were discussed.
In particular, the main focus was on the Oleksandrivsk and Pokrovsk directions, where the Russian army is concentrating its greatest efforts. At the same time, Ukrainian units are demonstrating tangible results in destroying the occupiers.
The results of long-range strikes and related priorities were also discussed. According to the president, such actions help reduce Russia’s revenues, particularly from oil, which is already being felt in the northeastern and southeastern directions.
In addition, further steps were approved together with the military command.
Zelenskyy emphasized that strong Ukrainian positions on the battlefield and in long-range capabilities should strengthen the country’s position in diplomacy and relations with partners.
The president stressed that Ukraine not only defends itself but also demonstrates the ability to enhance the security of other states.
