During the night, Russia carried out massive attacks on several Ukrainian regions. One person was killed in Zaporizhzhia, and 22 others were wounded, including three children. This was reported by the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.




















According to the SES, as of 7:00 a.m., rescuers had extinguished fires in apartments in two five-storey residential buildings covering an area of 230 square metres, as well as fires in five residential buildings, a service station and a café, covering a total area of 550 square metres. Eight victims were hospitalised, including children aged 9, 10 and 16. SES units rescued six people, including one child. The number of victims is being clarified. The service’s psychologists provided assistance to 26 citizens, including three children. During the clean-up, rescuers saved a cat.
A massive strike also hit the Dnipropetrovsk region. Infrastructure facilities were damaged in Dnipro and Pavlohrad, where fires broke out. In Dnipro itself, a private house and a farm building caught fire. According to preliminary data, there were no casualties or injuries. More than 100 rescuers and 40 pieces of equipment were involved in the clean-up operation.
In Kyiv, work has been completed after the night strike on 28 August. The most damage occurred in the Darnytskyi district, where a five-story building was destroyed. A total of 25 people were killed in the capital, including four children. State Emergency Service units worked at 19 locations in six districts, rescuing 15 people, including four children. Psychological assistance was provided to more than 300 citizens.
Rescuers continue to deal with the aftermath of the shelling in the regions.
