Ukrainian Prime Minister Yuliia Svyrydenko has submitted her resignation. Verkhovna Rada Chairman Ruslan Stefanchuk announced this.
According to him, the resignation letter has already been received by parliament. The Verkhovna Rada will consider the matter shortly in accordance with the established procedure.
Stefanchuk thanked Svyrydenko for leading the government during an exceptionally difficult period for the country, as well as for her contribution to strengthening the economy, supporting the public and advancing Ukraine on its path toward the European Union.
“I wish her success in her future endeavours,” the parliament speaker wrote.
