Unmanned systems destroyed three Russian air defence systems and a command and control vehicle in Donetsk Oblast

In the Donetsk direction, Ukrainian UAV operators struck key elements of the enemy’s layered air defence.

According to the Unmanned Systems Forces, the Charlie company of the 14th separate UAV regiment, in cooperation with the 15th Black Forest artillery reconnaissance brigade, destroyed three Russian anti-aircraft missile systems and a command and control vehicle belonging to one of the divisions.

‘Disabling the command and control vehicle paralyses or significantly complicates the enemy’s control of the anti-aircraft missile division, as well as creating vulnerable zones in its airspace,’ the SBU said.

        • S-300 air defence missile systems, capable of intercepting aircraft and missiles at a distance of up to 200 km.

It is noted that the Russians are creating a deeply echeloned air defence system with complexes of various ranges to protect against Ukrainian aircraft, missiles and drones.
