Ukrainian strikes on Russian defense industry facilities have led to an 18-20% reduction in oil processing in Russia, and the attacks continue almost daily.
This was reported by Andriy Yusov, a representative of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense.
Ukraine strikes strategically important facilities of the Russian defense-industrial complex almost daily.
“The key indicator is how many Ukrainian drones reach their targets and cause damage. According to various estimates, the reduction in oil product processing in Russia ranges from 18% to 20% — these are extremely large figures,” Andriy Yusov said.
Russia is trying to combine outdated Soviet models with technology that it presents as “the latest” in order to protect its military-industrial and fuel-energy complexes from Ukrainian long-range strikes.
“We are talking about both Soviet and modern complexes — the enemy is trying to combine them into a single system. These include the outdated S-300, the newer S-400, and the so-called latest S-350 Vityaz system,” Yusov explained.
According to him, air defense systems are deployed in all major Russian cities, as well as around strategically important facilities.
