On Thursday, 3 July 2025, Russian forces launched a missile strike on the city of Poltava, sparking a fire in the building of the Poltava Combined City Territorial Recruitment and Social Support Center.
According to Ukraine’s Ground Forces, the attack occurred around 9 a.m. Another strike was recorded near the Poltava Regional Territorial Recruitment and Social Support Center, where a private residential house caught fire.
Authorities reported fatalities and injuries among the civilian population. Emergency services and rescue teams are working at the scene. The number of victims is being clarified.
