Ukraine’s Defense Forces struck a number of military, logistics and fuel facilities in Russia, including the Grushovaya oil depot in Krasnodar Krai and the Krasny Yar oil pumping station in the Volgograd region. Fires were reported at both facilities.
Ukraine’s General Staff said that on June 7 and during the night of June 8, Ukrainian units carried out strikes against several important facilities used by Russian occupation forces.
According to the military, the Grushovaya oil transshipment depot near the settlement of Grushovaya Balka in Russia’s Krasnodar region was hit. A fire broke out at the site, while the extent of the damage is still being assessed.
The facility is part of the Sheskharis transshipment complex, the southern endpoint of Russia’s major oil pipeline network. It is used for receiving, storing and exporting crude oil and petroleum products through the port of Novorossiysk.
OSINT analysts from ASTRA also reported a fire at the Grushovaya industrial site. According to their analysis, it is the largest storage facility within the Sheskharis complex, containing dozens of oil storage tanks with a combined capacity exceeding 1.2 million cubic meters.
The Defense Forces also struck the Krasny Yar linear production and dispatch station in Russia’s Volgograd region. The General Staff said a fire was recorded at the facility.
Ukrainian military officials described the station as a key hub on oil supply routes leading to the Volgograd refinery and the Sheskharis export terminal via the Kuybyshev–Tikhoretsk pipeline.
In addition, a Russian radar station near Kabardinka in Krasnodar Krai was reportedly hit.
The General Staff also reported strikes on Russian drone command posts near Novobohdanivka and Novoivanivka in Zaporizhzhia region, Voskresenka in Donetsk region, and Cherkasskaya Konopelka in Russia’s Kursk region.
