Ukraine has received €4.1 billion from the European Union under the Ukraine Facility program, Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal has announced.
This is the second regular payment, which was received due to Ukraine’s fulfillment of all the conditions stipulated by the program.
According to Shmyhal, the total amount of assistance under the initiative this year is 16.1 billion euros, while the program provides for the allocation of 50 billion euros to Ukraine from 2024 to 2027.
Of this amount, 39 billion euros are planned to be used to support the state budget, which will help ensure the country’s macro-financial stability.
