President Volodymyr Zelenskyy held a meeting of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief’s Staff, with funding for Ukraine’s Defense and Security Forces for the autumn-winter period as the main issue. Intelligence agencies also reported on Russia’s plans, while special services briefed on operations against collaborators in the occupied territories.

According to Zelenskyy, the meeting identified key shortages and additional needs for the development of the most innovative and technologically advanced types of weapons. In particular, this includes accelerating the production of Ukrainian strike capabilities and new types of defensive weapons, including jet-powered interceptors.
Intelligence services presented updated information on Russia’s plans.
“We are preparing countermeasures and our asymmetric responses,” the president said.
The Staff also separately reviewed the results of what Zelenskyy described as long-range sanctions against Russia, as well as medium-range strikes. According to the president, the approved plan is being implemented, while priorities are being adjusted оперативly in line with the set objectives.
Interior Minister Ihor Klymenko reported on the implementation of previous decisions of the Staff and the National Security and Defense Council, as well as on areas requiring additional attention.
In addition, the special services separately reported on targeted operations against collaborators in the temporarily occupied territories, including Sevastopol. According to Zelenskyy, these are individuals involved in Russian strikes against Ukraine and Ukrainians.
“Accountability for collaborators is inevitable,” the president stressed.
