Two civilians were killed in Kherson as a result of a Russian artillery attack.
This was reported by Kherson Regional Prosecutor’s Office.
According to investigators, on January 3, 2026, at around 10:30 am, occupying forces shelled the city with artillery.
As a result of the shell explosion, an elderly woman and a middle-aged man were killed. Both were inside a passenger car parked in a courtyard. Under the procedural supervision of the Kherson District Prosecutor’s Office, a pre-trial investigation has been launched into a war crime that resulted in loss of life under Part 2 of Article 438 of Ukraine’s Criminal Code.
