As a result of the Russian attack that has continued since the night of September 8, the number of people killed in Kyiv has risen to three, while 19 people have been injured. New strikes have caused fires and damage in the Solomianskyi and Shevchenkivskyi districts.

This was reported by the Kyiv City Military Administration and Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko.

In the Solomianskyi district, falling UAV debris caused a fire and damage to a four-story office building. People were evacuated from the upper floors.

In the Shevchenkivskyi district, a warehouse complex was hit again. A fire broke out at the site, and emergency services are working there.

In the Holosiivskyi district, a warehouse building was hit, and a fire broke out on the roof.

As Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy reported earlier, a Russian attack drone struck the building of the “We Are Ukraine” TV channel, which takes part in the “United News” telethon, while journalists were on air. The building was partially destroyed, the fire was extinguished by State Emergency Service personnel, and five people are known to have been injured, although the number may still rise.
