On the night of August 21, Russia carried out a massive attack on Ukraine, launching more than 600 air attack weapons.
This was reported by the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
In particular, the following were launched:
- 574 UAVs;
- 4 Kh-47M2 “Kinzhal” aeroballistic missiles;
- 2 Iskander-M/KN-23 ballistic missiles;
- 19 Kh-101 cruise missiles;
- 14 Kalibr cruise missiles;
- 1 missile of an unidentified type from Crimea.
The air defense forces managed to neutralize 577 air targets:
- 546 enemy Shahed-type UAVs and various types of drone simulators;
- 1 Kh-47M2 “Kinzhal” aeroballistic missile;
- 18 Kh-101 cruise missiles;
- 12 Kalibr cruise missiles.
Missile and strike UAV hits were recorded at 11 locations, with debris falling at 3 locations.
