The level of trust Ukrainians have in President Volodymyr Zelensky declined slightly in the second half of May and early June after a period of steady growth since December 2024.
This is evidenced by the results of a survey conducted by the Kyiv International Institute of Sociology (KIIS).
According to the data, 65% of Ukrainians currently trust Zelensky, while 30% do not. The balance of trust and distrust is +35%.
For comparison, at the beginning of May, the level of trust was 74%, and the balance was +52%. At the same time, the current figures still exceed those at the beginning of February, before tensions in relations with the US administration. At that time, 57% of respondents trusted the president, and the trust balance was +20%.

The survey was conducted from 15 May to 3 June 2025 using telephone interviews (CATI). A total of 1,011 adult citizens of Ukraine residing in government-controlled territory were surveyed. The maximum statistical error does not exceed 4.1%.
