Yesterday, the Ukrainian Defense Forces conducted a precision strike against strategic facilities of the Russian military and fuel and energy infrastructure.
According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the successful operation resulted in the destruction of the Ilya oil refinery in Krasnodar Krai. A large-scale fire was recorded at the facility.
Also, the Kropotkinskaya and Andreapol oil pumping stations, which provided fuel transportation for the needs of the occupation forces, came under attack.
“The Ukrainian Defense Forces reserve the right to strike at strategic targets that contribute to the armed aggression of the Russian Federation. Operations to destroy the energy infrastructure that supports Russia’s illegal war will continue,” the General Staff noted.
Meanwhile, the Russians confirm the successful destruction of Russian fuel and energy infrastructure.
According to the Russian shareholder of the consortium, the Kropotkinskaya oil pumping station of the Caspian Pipeline Consortium (CPC) in Krasnodar Krai has been seriously damaged.
The attack destroyed the roof, damaged a closed switchgear, a gas turbine unit (GTU), as well as cables and a cable overpass, a water tank, and destroyed two transformers, filters, and the GTU’s fire extinguishing system.
