At the upcoming meeting of the Kharkiv Regional Defence Council, the issue of mandatory evacuation of all adults in the Borovske direction is set to be discussed. This was announced by the head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, Oleg Syniehubov, during the United News telethon.

According to Syniehubov, the situation in the northern part of Kharkiv Oblast, near the contact line, remains stable. The most challenging areas are Kupiansk and Borova, where the evacuation of residents is ongoing. Over the past day, 56 people, including two children, were evacuated from these areas.

‘Our priority is to preemptively relocate people to safer areas as the enemy continues to target civilian infrastructure. In six communities of the Kupiansk district, encompassing dozens of settlements, it is impossible to centrally restore electricity, water, or heating services. When attempts are made to carry out repairs, utility workers come under fire,’ Syniehubov stated.
