The Naval Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine destroyed a Russian Ka-27 anti-submarine helicopter. It was hit over the Black Sea.
This was reported on the official Telegram channel of the Ukrainian Navy.
“The Ukrainian Navy destroyed an enemy ship-based anti-submarine helicopter over the Black Sea,” the statement said.
According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, since the start of the full-scale invasion, as of the morning of March 5, the Russians have lost 235 aircraft and 348 helicopters.
The Russian Federation’s personnel losses have reached 1,270,400 people. On March 4, the Russian army lost another 900 of its soldiers killed and wounded.
The Armed Forces of Ukraine also destroyed the following in 24 hours:
- 4 tanks;
- 18 armored vehicles;
- 41 artillery systems;
- 1,667 multiple launch rocket systems;
- 1,319 air defense systems;
- 1,950 tactical-level unmanned aerial vehicles;
- 210 vehicles and tankers;
- 1 unit of special equipment.
