        The Air Force shared details of Russia’s massive strike on Kyiv

        On the night of 23 June, Russian occupation forces attacked Ukraine with 368 air strikes, and the Air Defence Forces managed to neutralise 354 of them.

        The main target of the strike was Kyiv, according to the Ukrainian Air Force.

        The enemy used:

        • 352 Shahed-type strike UAVs and dummy drones (up to 160 of them were Shaheds);
        • 11 Iskander-M/KN-23 ballistic missiles;
        • 5 Iskander-K cruise missiles.

        As of 09:00, air defence forces had destroyed 354 enemy air attack vehicles, 158 were shot down by firepower, and 196 were lost due to location:

        • 146 enemy Shahed-type UAVs (other types of drones) were shot down by firepower, 193 were lost/suppressed by electronic warfare;
        • 7 Iskander-M/KN-23 ballistic missiles were shot down, another 3 were lost;
        • 5 Iskander-K cruise missiles were shot down.

        Direct hits were recorded in 6 locations, as well as the fall of downed missiles (debris) in 25 locations in the city of Kyiv and the Kyiv region.
