Fierce fighting continues in the Kursk region as Russian troops, together with North Korean mercenaries, launched a massive assault on Ukrainian positions. This was reported by the 47th Separate Mechanised Brigade ‘Magura’.
This time, the enemy changed its tactics: instead of using mostly vehicles, the Russians relied on infantry groups. The assault began at midnight and lasted over 16 hours. The occupiers attacked in waves, moving through fields and open areas. Some of the assaulters were brought by buggy and dropped off in narrow plantations, where they tried to hide under trees.
The Ukrainian defenders of the 47th Brigade held the front line. All units worked on the enemy, including Bradley fighting vehicles and artillery, which used cluster munitions under intelligence guidance.
According to preliminary data, enemy losses in this assault amounted to at least a company of personnel.
