Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrskyi paid a working visit to Donetsk region, in particular to the Pokrovske and Kurakhove directions, where he met with commanders who are directly involved in the fighting.
“The main purpose of the trip is to communicate with the commanders in person, resolve problematic issues and provide comprehensive assistance,” said Syrsky.
As a result of the work, the necessary decisions were made to strengthen the units with reserves, additional ammunition, weapons and military equipment.
Syrsky emphasized that due to the resilience and courage of Ukrainian defenders, the enemy suffers significant losses in manpower and equipment, and its plans in these areas are failing.
“The resilience and courage of our soldiers are disrupting the enemy’s plans that go far beyond these areas. I am grateful to our warriors for their courage and steadfastness in the fight against the aggressor,” the Commander-in-Chief emphasized.
