Ukraine’s Special Operations Forces liberated the settlement of Andriivka-Klevtsove in the Volnovakha district of Donetsk region, which was known as Iskra during the Soviet era. During the operation, 30 Russian servicemen surrendered, while those who continued to resist were eliminated.

This was reported by the Special Operations Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

On the Oleksandrivka axis, Russian troops had been trying for a long time to capture the settlement in small groups. They gradually infiltrated Andriivka-Klevtsove and took up positions there.

Operators of the 3rd SOF Regiment, in cooperation with one of the SOF psychological operations centers, carried out a comprehensive operation to liberate the settlement.

The SOF showed the ground phase of the operation — the advance of special forces, the displacement of Russian troops from their positions, and the restoration of control over the territory.

As a result, 30 Russian servicemen were forced to surrender. Andriivka-Klevtsove once again came under Ukrainian control.
