In the Kyiv region, a Shahed drone attack hit the Arion Endurance Equestrian Club, killing seven horses, the club reported.
Among the deceased were Malakhita, who was preparing for the Ukrainian Championship; Ra Nazran and his son; Bosfor, who had competed the previous day; and Mak-Tum. Only two horses, Holly and Manuel, survived.
The club stated that all people on site are safe. The stable itself remained relatively intact, but the building sustained significant damage: windows and doors were blown out, and extensive repairs will be needed to house the surviving horses.
