The number of victims of a rocket attack on the town of Izyum in Kharkiv region has increased. More than 40 people have sought medical assistance, including three children. Five civilians were killed.
This was reported by the State Emergency Service of Ukraine and the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration.
Rescuers reported the completion of the search operation at the site of the missile attack on the center of Izyum.
According to the head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, Oleg Sinegubov, more than 40 people have sought medical assistance, 24 people have been hospitalized, three of them in serious condition.
“There are two girls among the victims: 6 and 16 years old. Their condition is medium. The search and rescue operation has been completed. According to our information, there are currently no people under the rubble,” wrote Sinegubov.
The shelling damaged 170 apartments and smashed windows.
