Russians sentence Zaporizhzhia NPP employee to 15 years in prison

The Russian occupiers have sentenced 56-year-old Zaporizhzhia NPP employee Natalia Shulga to 15 years in prison, accusing her of ‘attempted sabotage’ and alleged collaboration with the SBU.

This was announced by the mayor of Enerhodar, Dmytro Orlov.

According to him, the woman is accused of trying to ‘blow up a power line in Enerhodar’ in June 2024 to allegedly damage the power supply to one of the city’s districts.

Shulga was detained on 12 July last year, after which the occupiers forced her to take part in a staged video that was disseminated by propaganda resources.

On 5 March, a so-called Russian ‘court’ in Zaporizhzhia region sentenced her to 15 years in prison and a fine of 500,000 rubles.
