For the third day in a row, Russian forces have been launching airstrikes on the Korabel district of Kherson. According to the head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration, Oleksandr Prokudin, a 65-year-old man was killed in today’s attack. A day earlier, one person was injured.

One of the targets of the recent strikes was the Ostrivskyi Bridge. It sustained significant damage, making travel across it difficult, but passage is still possible for now.

Approximately 1,800 people remain in the Korabel neighborhood, including 187 people with limited mobility and 31 children. Local authorities are organizing evacuations. A total of 35 vehicles are available for this purpose, including ambulances equipped to transport people with mobility challenges.

Safe accommodation has been prepared for all evacuees. As of August 3, about 50 people have submitted evacuation requests, including 18 with limited mobility. Seven families with children have already agreed to leave. However, two residents have refused to evacuate.

“I urge residents of Korabel to evacuate. Don’t risk your lives. You will receive help at every stage — from departure to resettlement and ongoing support,” Prokudin said.
