Russians attack Kherson again: one dead

On December 20, the Russian military attacked a suburb of Kherson using a drone. According to Oleksandr Prokudin, head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration, a local resident was killed in the attack. “I express my sincere condolences to the family and friends of the deceased,” he wrote.

The Kherson Regional Prosecutor’s Office has launched a pre-trial investigation into the war crime.

The same morning, the occupiers carried out a massive shelling of Kherson. Within 40 minutes, about a thousand shells were fired at the city, hitting residential buildings, social institutions, critical infrastructure, and medical facilities. As a result, more than 30 multi-storey buildings, 15 private homes, and numerous infrastructure facilities were damaged. Several fires broke out in the city, which were later extinguished.

According to Roman Mrochko, head of the Kherson City Military Administration, the shelling killed two men and injured 11 others, including seven men and four women. The victims were diagnosed with explosive injuries and contusions. One of the wounded was hospitalized in a serious condition.
