On the night of December 18, Russian troops launched a massive attack on Cherkasy with strike drones. Six people are known to have been injured.
This was reported by the head of the Cherkasy Regional State Administration, Ihor Taburets.
“Six people have sought medical assistance so far. Fortunately, none of them are in serious condition,” the report said.
The Russians targeted critical infrastructure, leaving part of the city without power. Energy companies have begun restoration work.
The UAV crash damaged residential infrastructure in several locations. According to preliminary data, at least 15 private houses had broken windows and roofs, and fires broke out. Cars and windows in a sports complex were also damaged.
