Russian pro-government TV channels demand two undecillion rubles from Google

The total amount of claims of Russian pro-government TV channels to Google Corporation because of the blocking of their accounts on video hosting YouTube has increased to two undecillion rubles.

This is reported by RBC, referring to the words of a source familiar with the dispute.

Undecillion is a unit with 36 zeros. During the last court session, held on October 28, the judge said he was considering “a case with many, many zeros.”

The court fined Google because the company refused to comply with a demand to reinstate Russian propaganda YouTube channels, including Channel One, VGTRK, NTV, the Defense Ministry’s TV channel Zvezda, and IE Simonyan M.S., which represents Margarita Simonyan’s YouTube channel.

Another participant in the process told RBC that in September the total amount of the fine was almost 13 decillion rubles (a decillion is a unit with 33 zeros).
