Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said that Moscow does not know how US President-elect Donald Trump plans to resolve the war in Ukraine, but is ready to wait for his proposals.

“I have no idea,” Lavrov said, answering questions from journalists in Abu Dhabi.
He noted that Russia is ready to consider initiatives from the United States.
“We will wait for proposals. We always emphasize when asked about this that any politician who stands for peace deserves attention. What exactly will be offered is still unknown,” Lavrov added.
He also emphasized that Moscow’s position remains unchanged, as clearly stated by Russian President Vladimir Putin during his speech at the Foreign Ministry.
