Russian troops are trying to carry out a plan to encircle the Pokrovsk agglomeration, concentrating significant forces in the area. According to the 7th Rapid Response Corps of the Air Assault Forces of Ukraine, around 11,000 Russian soldiers have been deployed for the assault on the city. Enemy groups that managed to infiltrate Pokrovsk are attempting to advance to the northwest and north of the city.

Overall, within the area of responsibility of the 7th Corps, the enemy has amassed about 27,000 troops, nearly 100 tanks, up to 260 armored fighting vehicles, and around 160 artillery systems and mortars.
Ukrainian forces continue their defensive operation. Over the past two days alone, 90 Russian soldiers have been eliminated in this sector, while 42 more were wounded. Ukrainian defenders also destroyed one armored personnel carrier, three infantry fighting vehicles, three cars, and a motorcycle. In addition, 158 enemy drones of various types were shot down or neutralized. Inside Pokrovsk itself, 18 Russian troops were reported killed.
The defenders of the Pokrovsk agglomeration continue to hold their positions, repelling repeated enemy attempts to advance deeper into the city and execute the plan to encircle it.
