Russian drones struck Kyiv and the surrounding region again overnight. Reports of drone activity came not only from the capital but also from the Sumy, Chernihiv, Cherkasy, Kirovohrad, Vinnytsia and Khmelnytskyi regions.
According to the State Emergency Service, as of 4am two people had been killed in Kyiv. Fifteen others were injured, including a child. Rescuers saved four people, among them a child and a person with limited mobility. Multiple residential buildings were damaged in the combined attack.

















In the Shevchenkivskyi district, a 14-storey residential building was damaged, with apartments burning on the fourth and fifth floors. The fire was extinguished and medics assisted one person. In the Solomianskyi district, debris fell on a 25-storey building, igniting external insulation and partially destroying the facade from the first to the third floor. Parked cars were also damaged. The fire was put out and three people received medical assistance. At another address, debris hit a 17-storey building without causing a fire. In a private sector area, debris struck a garage; firefighters are still extinguishing the blaze.
In the Sviatoshynskyi district, a drone hit the entrance of a three-storey building. A fire broke out on the second floor and rescuers pulled out a child. Another person sought medical attention. The body of a deceased person was recovered from under the rubble. The fire has been extinguished and debris clearance is ongoing.
In the Dniprovskyi district, a strike on a 10-storey residential building caused the collapse of the sixth and seventh floors. The fire was extinguished and three people, including a person with limited mobility, were rescued from the seventh floor. Work to clear the damaged structures continues. In the Kyiv region, two people were injured in attacks on the Brovary and Fastiv districts. In Brovary, a fire broke out and parts of a nine-storey building were destroyed on the eighth and ninth floors. Two people were injured, one of whom was taken to hospital. Emergency crews evacuated 52 residents, including three children. A heating and support station has been set up in the city, and emergency service psychologists are assisting residents.
Private homes and parked vehicles in Brovary were also damaged. A fire in a garage cooperative was extinguished, with twenty garages reported damaged. All emergency services are working at the scene.
