The head of the Military Medical Clinical Centre of the Northern Region, Eduard Khoroshun, spoke about the consequences of the Russian attack on the medical facility. According to him, this is another violation of international law, in particular the Geneva Convention, which prohibits attacks on medical facilities and medical transport.
He thanked all the services that promptly helped the institution after the shelling, noting that measures had been taken to ensure the uninterrupted provision of medical care. Despite the damage to several buildings and operating theatres, the hospital has already resumed operations.
Patients and staff were injured as a result of the Shahed attack. The final material damage is still being determined.
Those interested can support the hospital by making a donation for a CT scanner.
The previous evening, the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces confirmed a Russian attack on a medical facility in Kharkiv.
