On May 19, Russian troops launched a ballistic missile strike on the central part of the city of Pryluky in Chernihiv region. Two people were killed and 17 injured.
This was reported by the Chernihiv region’s Main Police Department.
The explosion in Pryluky occurred at around 10 a.m. As specified by the head of the Chernihiv regional military administration, Vyacheslav Chaus, one of the enterprises was hit. A nearby shopping center, a supermarket, and fire equipment were damaged.
“Two people are known to have died. At least 17 injured. Among them is a 14-year-old child,” the report says.
Medics are providing assistance to the injured.
Police investigative and operational teams, forensic experts, community police officers, and emergency services are working at the scene.
