Russian forces have attacked Ukraine’s railway infrastructure for a second consecutive day. This time, a passenger train locomotive was struck in Volyn region, about two kilometers from the Polish border.
This was reported by Ukrainian Railways.
The company said its monitoring team had warned the train crew of the aerial threat in advance.
As a result, no one was injured in the strike.
Ukrainian Railways added that it continues to monitor aerial threats, maintain train operations and take maximum precautions to protect passengers and railway workers.
