The enemy launched three guided aerial bombs at the Kharkiv community, one of which struck the central road of Kharkiv, where there are no military facilities. This was reported by the head of the Kharkiv Regional State Administration, Oleh Syniehubov.
According to him, two aerial bombs fell outside Kharkiv, with the locations of the strikes and their consequences still being determined. As a result of the strike on the city, one person died at the scene and another died in an ambulance.
According to updated information, eight people are known to have been injured, including a 9-month-old girl. State Emergency Service units and law enforcement officers are inspecting the damaged buildings, with the primary task being to locate people who may still need assistance.
Dozens of apartment buildings and private homes have been damaged. The extent of the damage is currently being assessed, after which, together with volunteer organizations, the operational elimination of the consequences will begin, in particular, the closure of broken windows to keep the residents’ homes warm.
