Russian aircraft struck a building with civilians, killing four people, the Ukrainian Air Force Command said.

Around 18:00 on 1 February, Russian aircraft struck a three-storey building in Sudzha, Russia, with 86 civilians and a National Police of Ukraine station with four police officers, using a guided aerial bomb.

The strike destroyed the central part of the building. As of 21:00, four people were reported dead and four seriously wounded, who were evacuated to stabilisation centres for medical care.

Russian propaganda outlets traditionally blame Ukraine, but there is undeniable evidence that the strike was carried out by Russian tactical aircraft. The Air Force Command has released screenshots from the Virage Tablet system, which confirm the trajectory of the Russian bomb.
