On the night of July 16, Russian forces attacked Kyiv, killing two people and injuring six others. Strikes and falling debris were recorded in the capital’s Sviatoshynskyi and Darnytskyi districts.
Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko reported this.
“Two people were killed in Kyiv as a result of the enemy attack. Six residents of the capital were injured, including a 16-year-old boy. Medics hospitalised three of the wounded,” the statement said.
According to the State Emergency Service, the Sviatoshynskyi and Darnytskyi districts came under attack today.
In the Darnytskyi district, a fire broke out in an administrative and warehouse building, while trucks and a warehouse building also caught fire. The fires were extinguished.
In the Sviatoshynskyi district, a strike caused a fire in a single-storey warehouse.
Emergency crews continue to deal with the consequences at the sites.
