        Russia attacked Ukraine with 140 UAVs and four ballistic missiles

        On the night of August 18, Russia attacked Ukraine with four Iskander-M ballistic missiles and 140 UAVs. Air defense forces destroyed 88 Russian drones.

        This was reported by the Ukrainian Air Force.

        “According to preliminary data, as of 09:00, air defense forces shot down/suppressed 88 enemy Shahed-type UAVs and various types of drone simulators in the north, south, east, and center of the country,” the report said.

        Enemy missiles and strike UAVs were recorded hitting 25 locations in Donetsk, Kharkiv, Sumy, Dnipropetrovsk, Odesa, and Kyiv regions.

        In Kharkiv, the number of victims of the Russian attack rose to five people. Among the dead were a 1.5-year-old girl and a 16-year-old boy, and 20 people were injured.
