On the night of May 4–5, Russia launched strikes on several regions of Ukraine, resulting in casualties. The Kyiv region, Kharkiv, Dnipro, and Zaporizhzhia came under fire; fires broke out at the sites of the strikes, and there are casualties.
This was reported by the State Emergency Service of Ukraine and local authorities.
In the Kyiv region, three people were injured as a result of the nighttime Russian attack. In the Brovary district, a strike on a residential area was recorded—a man and a woman were wounded, and a house and a car were damaged. In the Vyshhorod district, a fire broke out at an industrial facility due to the shelling, and one person was wounded.
In Kharkiv, Russian missiles struck the Osnovyanskyi district. The roof and windows of an apartment building, a warehouse, and cars were damaged. According to Kharkiv Mayor Ihor Terekhov, no reports of casualties have been received. In the morning, the occupiers struck the Kholodnohirskyi district with a drone; the consequences are being assessed.
In Dnipro, three private homes and a critical infrastructure facility were damaged. According to Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration Head Oleksandr Hanzha, the strike caused a fire at the infrastructure facility and in the Dniprovskyi district. A 62-year-old man was injured.
In Zaporizhzhia, the attack caused a fire in a non-residential building. According to Ivan Fedorov, head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration, a woman was injured.
