        Search and rescue operations have been completed in Kyiv’s Darnytskyi district following the Russian strike on May 14. According to official data, 24 people were killed, including three children.

        The information was announced by Interior Minister Ihor Klymenko.

        According to him, the search and rescue operation lasted more than 28 hours.

        Rescue workers cleared more than 3,000 cubic meters of destroyed building structures.

        Klymenko said that 24 people were killed in the strike and another 48 were injured.

        Nearly 400 people also received assistance from psychologists from the State Emergency Service and the National Police working at the scene.

        Following the completion of the rescue operation, emergency crews moved on to recovery and stabilization work.

        The minister also reminded that May 15 was declared a day of mourning in Kyiv for the victims of Russia’s massive attack on May 14.

        “This is a painful loss for the city and for the entire country. Eternal memory to the victims,” Klymenko said.
