The Verkhovna Rada has failed to pass a decision to dismiss MP Yuriy Boyko from the committee on human rights, de-occupation and reintegration of the occupied territories.
As reported by MP Yaroslav Zheleznyak, “in favor” voted only 217 deputies.
Earlier Boyko published a video where he criticized “radicals” who rename cities, demolish monuments and “forbid to speak their native language”.
This speech caused a resonance, after which he was summoned for questioning by the SBU. Parliament also registered a draft resolution on his dismissal from the committee.
