Prosecutors expose network of fraudulent call centers in Dnipro

Prosecutors from the Office of the Prosecutor General have shut down five fraudulent call centers in Dnipro, where criminals used European SIM cards to deceive victims by posing as bank and service company employees.

The five call centers operating in Dnipro, each with about 250 workstations, were closed by prosecutors from the Office of the Prosecutor General. The centers were equipped with modern computer equipment, headsets, and specialized software that allowed calls with concealed real phone numbers.

The criminals used SIM cards from mobile operators in European countries. They misled victims by pretending to be employees of banks and service companies, gaining access to their funds.
