President Volodymyr Zelenskyy reported that Ukrainian air defence forces destroyed 14 Russian missiles overnight. He announced this in his post on Telegram.

According to the president, “Patriots” and other systems were activated during the night, shooting down two aero-ballistic and six ballistic missiles. He stressed that Ukraine will continue strengthening its air defence with systems capable of intercepting ballistic targets.

Zelenskyy added that he instructed Ukrainian diplomats to inform partners about the nature of Russian attacks and their chosen targets. Russia continues its strikes on residential areas of Kyiv and energy infrastructure.
